"Turkey's Progress In Political And Economic Areas Praised By EU Countries, Babacan
STOCKHOLM - Turkish State Minister and Chief Negotiator for Turkey-EU Talks Ali Babacan said on Thursday that the progress which Turkey made in political and economic areas (and the reforms it undertook) in the last three years were closely monitored and appreciated by the EU countries.
Babacan who is currently in Stockholm upon the invitation of Swedish Trade Minister Thomas Ostros, told reporters after his meetings that the EU countries were very well aware of the reform process in Turkey."
