"74.2% of Turks See US as Main Threat to World Peace

Nearly two thirds of Turkish people still support Turkey's European Union (EU) membership while three quarters of Turks see the US as the biggest threat to world peace - in contrast to a mere two percent which see Iran as the major threat.
The poll, conducted by Pollmark among 2,639 people in 12 cities for the Yeni Safak daily, showed 62 percent of Turks backed the country's EU membership aspirations. This support has slightly slipped from the figure for the previous year which stood at 64 percent."
