The Turkish military, whose support is essential for advancement of Turkey's bid to join the European Union, has so far cooperated with civilian administrations to meet the bloc's reform demands even though doing so has forced it to let go of some of the power it has had for decades, and the cooperation is likely to continue in the future but troubles may emerge if the EU-inspired reform process gets too demanding to tolerate, according to an analysis."
