French laws criminalizing denial of the Armenian �genocide� and the Jewish Holocaust as well as a law declaring the trans-Atlantic slave trade a crime against humanity should be reviewed in the wake of ongoing controversy over a directive encouraging the positive portrayal of France's colonial past in textbooks, according to French National Assembly Speaker Jean-Louis Debre."
