"TOBB: EU needs to pay for Turkey's adaptation

Turkish Union of Chambers and Commodities Exchanges (TOBB) President Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu believes there are no direct costs to political negotiations between Turkey and the European Union and that problems encountered are easily surmountable, but that the costs of economic harmonization will be huge and impossible for Turkey to bear alone. �There is a cost for Turkey's EU membership, and the EU should at least pay a portion of it,� said the TOBB official."
