Opposition parties mustered enough votes to convene a special session of Parliament to address a recent escalation of bomb attacks around the country.
A sanitation worker was wounded yesterday when a bomb went off in a central Istanbul park, and two people were killed and 10 wounded in an explosion on a bus in the Mediterranean resort of Manavgat on Sunday night.
No one claimed responsibility for those attacks. In July, a bomb on a minibus in the Aegean resort of Kusadasi killed five people. Kurdish separatists are suspected in that attack."
