"EU envoys again fail to agree on Turkey response

BRUSSELS (Reuters) - Envoys from the European Union's member states on Friday failed again to agree on how to respond to Turkey's refusal to recognise Cyprus, with talks likely to continue on Monday, EU diplomats said.
'The meeting of the ambassadors is over. There has not been any major shift in the countries' positions,' one diplomat said.
The lack of agreement is unlikely to jeopardise the start of EU membership talks with Turkey on October 3, the diplomat said."
