Sept. 2 (Bloomberg) -- Turkey and the European Union battled over the terms of Turkey's EU membership bid, risking last-minute snags to the planned start of entry negotiations next month.
EU foreign ministers scolded Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan for refusing to grant full diplomatic status to EU member Cyprus, while saying the EU remains committed to beginning the decade-long negotiations on Oct. 3."
