I have this thing about taking public transport when I visit a strange city, so in a moment of madness I climbed aboard a tram in Istanbul. Madness, because I couldn't speak the language and couldn't read the signs.
Odd? Not really. Just another part of the somewhat surreal travel adventure in which I found myself participating.
