This is the academic thesis I developed in the city of Kahramanmaras: It's a given that social or cultural factors are a critical element in economic development. Among the most critical is human capital; in fact a young, dynamic, worldly and well-informed human capital willing to state and defend their views. I got the first and abstract part of this thesis listening to a young academic describe a new book that he had just edited and published at Sutcu Imam University. I got the concrete part later in the day, in a conversation with the young people who will be running Turkey tomorrow.
Let's call this my �accelerated course� at Sutcu Imam University. Let me explain how I learned my lesson."
