�To form a federation we need 2,000 registered Kangals and breeders,� says Orak

Preparations for forming a federation for the smartest dogs in the world, known for their loyalty towards their owners, �Kangals� are underway, according to Dogan News Agency.
The Cumhuriyet University Kangal Research and Breeding Center head Yusuf Ziya Orak said: �When we achieve 2,000 registered breeders and dogs, a federation will be formed. Furthermore this federation will then gain the right to join the International Dog Federation.� He said that the research would determine the exact number of Kangals and breeders at hand. "
