"American Scholar Backs up Turkey's Claims of 'No Armenian Genocide'
Leading American expert on the Armenian genocide is in full support of Turkeys' claims that a 'genocide', in the traditional sense of the word didn't happen, but that instead a civil war happened in eastern Anatolia during World War I.
Justin McCarthy from Louisville University met yesterday with Republican's Peoples Party (CHP) Leader Deniz Baykal to discuss the genocide claims.
Baykal said that Turkey was ready to open all documents in its possession on 'Armenians' and that the discussion should move away from being politically powered, and that it should become a scholarly motivated discussion.
