UN delegates vow to pressure Turkish gov’t for transparency in murders of women
Officials from the United Nations have vowed to continue pressuring the Turkish government to provide statistics regarding the relentlessly high number of women murdered at the hands of men, an issue about which the government has not provided statistics since 2009.
