Turkish poverty line jumps TL 366 amid rising food prices

The poverty threshold for a family of four has risen from TL 4,014 at the end of last year to TL 4,378 in August, primarily due to a protracted surge in Turkish food prices, the Confederation of Turkish Labor Unions (Türk-İş) said in a report on Wednesday.
