Erdoğan's art of enemy multiplication

It is true that politics can be defined as more of an art than as a science.
But what sort of art would that be? For Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, it is the art of multiplying his enemies. It is Erdoğan's political strategy to create enemies and then proceed by fighting these enemies. Enemies are carefully selected and those organizations or groups that lack self-defense mechanisms are specifically selected. As the hostilities and animosities are imaginary, the winner of the war against them is obvious. As he fights these imaginary enemies, Erdoğan grows and support for him increases. He turns into a mythological hero by fighting these imaginary enemies. You could view this political strategy as a form of ghost hunting.
