Sweet makers in Istanbul are preparing for boom time. It is the Sugar Festival, a name in Turkey given to the three day celebrations of Eid. The Muslim world is marking the end of Ramadan. Throughout Turkey it is a centuries-old tradition to offer sweets to guests. Times though are changing.
