Germany: Ankara sending "wrong signal" on protests

BERLIN - The Turkish government is sending the wrong signal at home and abroad with its reaction to protests, German Foreign Minister Guido Westerwelle said on Wednesday, describing pictures from Istanbul's central Taksim square as "disturbing".
