Lufthansa Set to Deepen Turkish Tie-Up as Rivals Look East

Deutsche Lufthansa AG (LHA) may seek to deepen a code-sharing relationship with Turkish Airlines to thwart competition from Gulf-region carriers and catch rivals in Europe that already have Mideast partnerships, analysts said after Turkish media reported talks on a possible merger.
