Support for Turkey

On Aug. 2, Congressmen Ed Whitfield (R-Ky.) and Alcee Hastings (D-FL) introduced House Resolution 772 that voices U.S. support for Turkey, a key NATO ally in its struggle against the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK), also known as the Kongra-Gel.
