Turkish jets hit suspected rebel targets

Turkey's military says its warplanes have bombed three suspected Kurdish rebel targets in northern Iraq. The military says the jets hit the three suspected rebel shelters in Iraq's Zap region on Friday near the Turkish border, then returned safely after an "effective"
operation.
