Turkey, First Country Ratifying Convention on Violence Against Women

UNITED NATIONS (A.A) - Turkey's deputy family and social policies minister said on Monday that Turkey was the first country that signed and ratified the Council of Europe (COE) Convention on preventing and combating violence against women and domestic violence.
