Istanbul Made a better start to 2012

Turkish Culture and Tourism Ministry Istanbul Directorate announced the number of foreign tourist arrivals for January 2012.
istanbul-romanceAccording to the tourism statistics, Istanbul made a better start than last year. Last year, a total of 378.380 tourists visited Istanbul in January 2011; an increase of 28.5 per cent compare to January 2010. In January 2012, a total of 451.662 tourists visited; an increase of 19.4 percent compare to January 2011.
