Turkish trucks held at Syrian border

Turkish trucks, which depend on Syria as a transit route, are being stopped or taxed more at the borders, as Turkey’s tough stance on Damascus is beginning to hit Ankara’s trade with the Middle East.
Hundreds of Turkish trucks have been impeded from travelling into Syria, while others on their return leg have been halted by Syrian officials at the border between Syria and Jordan.
