PM not attending civilian summit after laparoscopy

(ANSAmed) - ANKARA, DECEMBER 7 - The Turkish Prime Minister, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, is continuing his recovery after undergoing a laparoscopy 11 days ago. Following earlier unofficial reports, it was announced today that Erdogan will not travel to Qatar on Saturday, where he was due to attend the Civilian Alliance Summit.
