A critical U.S. and NATO ally, Turkey is a Muslim, democratic country with a population of approximately 70 million who stand as a bridge between the East and West.
Turkey is an inspiration for Muslim nations that want their religion and secularism to coexist peacefully.
Vice President Joe Biden will visit Turkey soon, and he must further enhance our relationship.
This fall, our political science class surveyed key foreign policies issues facing the U.S. and studied Turkey.
