Morupule Colliery targets Turkey, Far East for exports
As the commissioning of its expanded 2.8 million tonne per annum coal mine approaches, Morupule Colliery is in talks with potential buyers in Turkey and the Far East, Mmegi Business has learnt.
The colliery's Marketing Manager, Jonathan Vergeer, said although discussions were at a preliminary stage, two ports in Mozambique were being targeted for use as routes to the potential markets under discussion.
