Istanbul — At the risk of depleting their age long clamour of joining the European Union (EU), the government and people of Republic of Turkey have taken the bull by the horns by spearheading the struggle for a fairer definition of Islam, and positive status for Muslims' on the African continent.Dozens of people participated in the 2nd African Muslim Religious Leaders' Summit (AMRLS) which took place in Istanbul between 21st and 25th November, 2011.
