Christel Boeljon of Netherlands made her way to her first solo victory on the Ladies European Tour by winning the 2011 Turkish Airlines Ladies Open.
The player won a prize of $37,550 in the event authorities appreciated as a well organised and smooth event. The weather was a big obstacle as the ladies teed off in Antalya. Late Friday, the tournament was interrupted and some players could not finish their second round. The game resumed in a very organised manner next day and all the players got a fair chance to golf."
