"Turkish firm construct 750 MW gas power plant in Iraq's Mosul

Turkey's Cal?k Enerji has started construction of a 750 MW natural gas conversion power plant in northern Iraq's city of Mosul.
According to World Bulletin, Iraqi deputy minister for electricity Saad ?brahim Hammudi, laid the foundations for the new 750 MW Nainawa power station, 60 km south of Mosul. Çal?k Holding representatives said the construction of the power plant will be completed in 2012."
