Georgia and Turkey have agreed to simplify border crossing procedures. According to a statement released by the Georgian President’s administration after a meeting between Mikheil Saakashvili and the Turkish Foreign Minister, Ahmet Davutoglu, crossing the Georgia-Turkey state border will be possible “without getting out of the car” after showing a passport or an ID card.
