Foreign minister Maxime Verhagen is ‘deeply disappointed’ that Turkey has not yet complied with the Ankara Protocol. Turkish ports have still not been opened to Cypriot ships, and Turkish airports remain closed to Cypriot aircraft. In a meeting of EU foreign ministers in Brussels, Mr Verhagen urged Turkey to take concrete action."
