"Energy investments expected to boom in 2010
Renewable energy investments will boom next year, said Hasan Köktaş, head of the Energy Market Regulatory Authority, or EMRA.
It will be easier to find financing to enable energy investments to speed up in 2010, said Köktaş. The private sector has no trouble attaining financing, he said. “No smart project that has completed the feasibility study could ever have financing trouble,” said Köktaş, speaking at an industry meeting held by Natural Gas Distribution Companies Association of Turkey, or GAZBİR, in Kayseri."
