The government intends to announce its initiative for solving the Kurdish problem before jailed PKK leader Öcalan releases his own plan Aug. 15

The government has accelerated its efforts to create a comprehensive “Kurdish plan” in order to preempt one set to be released by the jailed leader of the outlawed Kurdistan Workers’ Party, or PKK."
