"Turkey to solve Kurdish issue with more democracy

ANKARA, July 29 (Xinhua) -- Turkish Interior Minister Besir Atalay said Wednesday that Turkey is determined to take more steps towards democracy to solve the Kurdish issue, local newspaper Daily News reported.
The Kurdish issue, which has brought about separatist clashes in the country's southeast region, will be resolved with 'more freedom and more democracy' by ensuring that all Turkish people see themselves as free and equal citizens, Atalay was quoted as telling a press conference here."
