Ankara: Three assailants opened random fire in a village in eastern Turkey yesterday, killing six people and wounding seven others, a local official said. Armed with pump-action guns, the attackers - a man and his two sons - walked through the village of Karaali in the province of Elazig, shooting villagers on the way, provincial governor Muammer Musmal told the NTV news channel."
