"Turkey extradites al-Qaida suspect
ANKARA, Turkey (AP) - Turkey has extradited a suspected al-Qaida militant to Germany to face charges of participating in a plot to bomb U.S. targets there.
Attila Selek was arrested in Turkey on a German warrant a year ago on charges of membership in a terrorist organization and preparing to carry out bomb attacks.
Police say the 23-year-old German national was handed over to German police Thursday at Istanbul's Ataturk airport before boarding a plane for Frankfurt.
German prosecutors allege Selek was in charge of getting parts for making bombs to attack U.S. targets.
Selek's attorney has denied the accusations."
