For the past three years, it has become a tradition for the Federal Republic of Turkey to organise Turkiye-Africa Foreign Trade Conference with the acronym, Tuskon. This is done in collaboration with Turkish Chamber of Commerce, bringing together nations around Africa for meetings, conferences, exibition and various colloquiums. The 2008 edition of Tuskon, which recently took place in Istanbul, was very well attended by Ministers of Commerce and Industry, and other representatives from all over African nations and Turkey."
