"Europe OKs Turkey in Med Union
Paris, Jul 12 (Prensa Latina) Turkey's membership in France's Mediterranean Union initiative will not prevent Ankara from joining the European Union (EU), European Commissioner Benito Ferrero-Waldner said Saturday.
'We have absolutely no objections,' Ferrero-Waldner said, quoted by French newspaper, Le Figaro."
