The Turkish economy surprised everyone by recording a growth of 6.6 percent during the first quarter of the year. In the same period of 2007, growth was 4.5 percent, while the agriculture sector shrank 6.9 percent due to drought. But in the first quarter of this year, the sector grew 5.6 percent in flat rates. "
