"Orthodox leaders support İzmir for EXPO

The EXPO 2015 European Civilian Initiative will hold a large event to support İzmir's EXPO bid on March 15 that is expected to include the Armenian and Greek patriarchs as well as the consul generals of various countries. The aim of this initiative is to secure the support of Orthodox countries for İzmir's EXPO 2015 candidacy. The International Bureau of Exhibitions (BIE) will decide on the host country on March 31."
