"Alevi Student Beaten By Teacher Of Religion In Istanbul
In a vocational high school in Sisli, Istanbul, an Alevi student was beaten by the teacher of religion and was taken to hospital with serious injuries to his inner organs and head that threatened his life. In a series of recent events Alevi students have been targets of humiliation and sometimes physical assault by teachers of the controversial religious studies that only teach Sunni Islam.
