As Istanbul readies to host a �Nuclear Energy Arena� Friday amid the country's own renewed plans to build its first nuclear power plant, U.S. officials steered clear of reports yesterday that the United States may acquiesce to Turkey's staying outside of an American-run program to monitor trafficking of nuclear fuel."
