"Turkish Cypriots mark Kokkina fighting
AROUND 650 Turkish Cypriots visited Kokkina yesterday to mark the 43nd anniversary of intercommunal battles in the area.
Thirty-three buses brought the Turkish Cypriots through the Limnitis area, while scores more arrived by boat. The first 11 buses crossed together at 8.30am and the remainder within the next half an hour.
The boat sailed from Kyrenia to the Turkish held enclave and was accompanied by smaller vessels belonging to the Turkish military.
Turkish Cypriot leader Mehmet Ali Talat and his aides arrived by helicopter just before the ceremony."
