Turan Erol, the Chairman of the Capital market board (SPK), said on Sunday that there is no problem in Turkey's mortgage market.
"However, developments [in global financial markets] should be monitored closely by not only loan institutions but also regulatory authorities, and lessons should be taken from these developments," Erol told Anatolia news agency correspondent."
