'It is important that the forthcoming presidential election is held by upholding all the principles of democracy and the rule of law,' Mr Rehn told the Finnish News Agency (STT) on Thursday.'The EU has no reason to suspect that the army, or any other instance for that matter, would intervene in the democratic process afoot in Turkey's parliament.'"
