Turks prayed for rain, protested the Ankara mayor for his negligence and accused the government of failing to take action against water shortages and drought. But at the end of the day everyone realized that anger and statements won't bring water and real measures were needed to face the drought crisis. So the government has decided to set up a state ministry in charge of water affairs. The ministry will coordinate water projects and prepare a centralized inventory of Turkey's water resources and ways to store water."
