While the Justice and Development Party (AK Party) added one Olympic champion Hamza Yerlikaya to its list, the Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) added two to theirs, Naim Süleymanoğlu and Mahmut Demir. Demir currently tops the Amasya list and Süleymanoğlu is listed sixth for İstanbul’s second electoral district. Not to be left behind, the Democrat Party (DP) included artist Şebnem Kısaparmak and the Young Party (GP) brought in singer and TV host İbrahim Tatlıses."
