"Berlin mediates in EU-Turkey row
BERLIN, June 11 (UPI) -- Germany may be trying to mediate a conflict between the European Union and potential future member Turkey.
Behind the scenes, German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier is trying to act as an honest broker in a conflict between Brussels and Ankara that has heated up recently, German news magazine Der Spiegel said in its latest issue, which hit newsstands Monday."
