This article dealing with the loyalty question in modern Turkey purports to study, from this point of view, the relations between nationalism, Islamism, and globalisation since the foundation of the Republic in 1923. 'Loyalty in post-national state' is a fairly new subject of discussion. Therefore, I’ll first of all take a brief glance at some processes and general concepts and will also put forward some hypotheses."
