A new shopping and “caravansarai” complex for $200 mil is expected to boost up both the business and tourism volume for the Southeastern Turkish city of Urfa, or “Sanliurfa” as its official name goes. Urfa is one of the oldest settlements in the world with a history stretching back thousands of years. In historic texts, the city is referred to as either “Urhai “ (in Assyrian) or “Odessa” (Macedonian Greek)."
